Just when you think the worst is over!! They're back! My little doggie was itching himself the other day and as I turned toward him to see what was up, he jumped onto my lap and a wee ol ticky fell off him. At first I sat there stunned, not knowing what to do...then as it started to crawl I whisked it into a tissue and squashed it. A little graphic I know, but I have a hatred for these little creatures who have marked me many times from bites on my arms, legs and other places!

Their bite is tremendously itchy! I once had one on my arm for about 6 months and it was always so itchy, I could never not scratch it! Now its finally disappeared but sadly, a new one has appeared on my other arm. Sigh!

I love my dogs and cat to death and I would never banish them from the room cause of ticks. My house dog, Ziggy is my pal. He sleeps on the bed with me...gives me cuddles, nestles under my chin when he gets cold: He's just lovely. He was not a difficult puppy at all....he's almost a year. But to see him lead a great life after the pest control came in etc etc was amazing! Now? Sigh....he's back to the ol scratching again. Poor chap! Looks like another tick wash is in need and a shave and another call to the pest control is needed too!! Wish me luck! Have a good weekend everyone! Happy Deepavali!
