Hey Guys,

I've been glued to the tv every Wednesday andThursday night watching American Idol! I use toproduce the8tvversion ofMalaysian Idol back in the day, so its interesting to see that some of the mechanics have changed. I'm not too big on mostreality shows but American Idol seems to have a different format this year so its resparked my interest! Saying that...I was a huge David Cook fan when he beat young David Archuleta last year. I like the fact that since last year or so, there is an introduction of instruments...it really adds to their performance and brings about a different kind of artist, which is one that can not only sing...but also write and play music.

I always love to predict the American Idol in levels. Last year my heart was with David Cook from thetime we hit Top 12,but because of all the tweens and young girls in America...I was sure young David was going to win. So, I was very surprised when they announced the winner.

My heart tells me either the music teacher who lost his wife will win...or either get very very far orthe partially blind piano player will win. I'm not seeing any girls who are going to go far...except maybe lil rounds (yeah, strange name)...who is a good singer.

But still, its exciting...they have chosen their final 36. My interest goes up to the max when they hit the final 12....then nothing will be able to tear me away from the tv then! Ha ha ha....have a good weekend all!
