Hit and Misses!

Ok...so I did go traveling last week but it wasn't how i imagined it to be. We went to visit the Hot Springs past Seremban. It was definitely an experience. For some reason, when the hot springs were mentioned, a vision of a natural lake filled my head...with pockets of people scattered around. What it really was, was concrete! Lots and lots of concrete pools filled with hot water. Still...we did give it a try. I couldn't get past my hands because it really was hot (obviously!).

Then, onward we forged! Ready to engulf the megalythic stones! They are suppose to be the size of houses and have been here from a time, long ago. But now, allow me to rant on a little bit about sign boards in Malaysia! Its not too bad! I've expereinced worse...but the megalythic stones had us driving around for over an hour, hitting a major T junction and exploring every exit we could find. After seeing everything but the megalythic stones in the area, we decided it was not in our fate to see the stones today.

However...the best thing about traveling is that you can re route your trip and squeeze in something else while you're on the way back. So...we decided to travel a little further ahead to see the Dutch Fort...jes within the border of Melaka. That was closed! Ha ha ha...we squeezed through the locked gate...hoping to find a treasure...and it was basically a hill. Sorry to sound down about it...but by this time I was laughing to myself about the day.

I have to say, all was not lost. The best part was and always is, the conversations we have on the ride there and back. And sometimes, no amount of traveling or sight seeing can top that! So...always look on the bright side of life I say!
