Hey guys! I decided to give traveling a miss last weekend because we had a dial and dine dinner on but mainly because the PWTC had a local tourism exhibition going on next door. So, after a pleasant dial and dine lunch, we headed off to the exhibition. It’s funny. You don’t really hear about things like this, unless you pay attention to the papers. It was by luck that we found it was going on at all. The exhibition was great. It had a lot of different booths representing states, hotels and companies. As soon as we stepped inside, we were stuffed with information. The great thing was that we were able to take home a bag full of brochures about certain activities to historical monuments in different states. We’re planning a trip to Tioman around August and we were pleased to find a lot of different packages on offer for that. When we got back, it took me about 3 hours to go through everything and once again, I got bit by the travel bug! What’s really interesting is the way things are packaged. We got a brochure for Taiping, a place we pass or skirt around, time and time again. Its brochure had a map inside that marked a historical drive through town as well as a walk path. Many brochures, offered events and activities that surprised me! Do you know you can go to titiwangsa and go zorbing? Its an ‘extreme’ activity that sees you strapped inside a clear ball and rolled down a hill. Cool eh? So, I reckon we’ll be discovering Taiping on our next outing and not long after that, zorbing down a hill inside a ball in titiwangsa. Not sure which one I’d like more but I’ll be sure to tell you all about it! X, Sara
